So James Brown..I miss that guy. Why'd you have to go and die on Christmas?

This year will be interesting, because I have not a clue what my mother got me. She's been sneaky, and Dogan has been helping her..so it must be good. But more importantly I love giving and I am excited to see everyone happy. My amazing (and british) grandmother is here. Just got her from the airport. It is baby Alex's (my nephew) first Christmas. Too bad he isn't functional enough to care that he's got the most under the tree. I will begin and finish the darkroom after I get back from NY this year, because my mom's decoration shit is allllll up in my studio space. It's going to be great though. Excited for NY this winter, although it may be a rather depressing winter there. My cousin is not well, again. But I know there are ways to be happy in these sort of situations so I will try and do just that. I know that seeing me sad will not make her better. I want her to know that she is beautiful with or without hair. At least it won't snow the day after I leave this time. It was like 3 below today. Looking forward to layers, a nice change from sweaty in gross FL in December..makes no sense.
